BlockRace (“the game”, “we”, “us”) is published by Aadhira. This policy explains what information the game processes, why, and the choices you have. Questions: sivaperuman@gmail.com.
On your device. Your save data — coins, trophies, best times, owned and equipped skins, stars, achievements, daily-mission progress, lifetime stats, your settings, your saved custom tracks, and the display name you choose — is stored in your device's local storage. A random sync code (an anonymous identifier created on first run) is also stored there. Uninstalling the app, or using in-game Reset Progress, clears the on-device copy.
Cloud progress backup (online play). So you don't lose progress and can move it between devices, the game backs your save data up to our server. The backup is keyed by your random sync code and contains the same gameplay data listed above (including your chosen display name). It is not linked to any account, email address, phone number, or real-world identity — anyone restoring a profile does so by entering its sync code. We keep only the latest copy (last write wins). This backup happens only when the game is connected to our servers (i.e. when online features are available); in fully offline play, nothing leaves your device.
Multiplayer relay data. When you host, join, or matchmake into a room, your display name, chosen character, in-race position/state, quick-chat emotes (a fixed set of icons — there is no free-text chat) and your finish time are relayed through our server to the other players (up to four) in that room so the race can run. This relay is transient: the server holds it only in memory for the life of the room and does not write it to any database. Empty rooms are discarded shortly after. Choose a display name that does not reveal personal information, since other players in your room can see it.
Technical connection data. Like any internet service, our server briefly processes the network information needed to hold a connection (such as your IP address) to deliver multiplayer and cloud-backup traffic. We do not use it to build a profile of you and we do not store it as part of your save.
This version of BlockRace does not contain ads. There
is no advertising SDK in the app, it does not request your Android
Advertising ID, and it does not declare the AD_ID
permission.
We may add advertising in a future version. If we do, we will update this policy and our Google Play “Data safety” disclosure before that version is released, describing exactly what the ad provider collects and how you can manage your personalized-ads choices (including the consent prompt required in the EEA, the UK, and similar regions).
We do not sell your personal information. The only routine sharing is in multiplayer, where — by design — your display name, character, race position and emotes are shown to the other players in your room. We may disclose information if required by law.
BlockRace is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
On-device data persists until you clear it or uninstall the game. A cloud backup persists on our server until it is overwritten by a newer save under the same sync code, or until you ask us to delete it (see Section 7). Multiplayer relay data exists only in memory for the life of a room. Connections to our server use encryption in transit (HTTPS / WSS / TLS).
We may update this policy. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes (such as introducing ads), provide notice in the app or store listing and update our Data safety disclosure.
